What a lovely experience! Greeted with warm cider upon arrival (they also had champagne) and lavender scented hand towels. Our room was gorgeous and the service was quite genuine. Morning coffee was available on the second floor along with a cold breakfast that included delicious chocolate muffins and banana bread. Love that they offer a locals discount, it made celebrating my husband's birthday special and within reach.

We chose to have our wedding at The Sacajawea Hotel, and it was truly the best decision we could have made! We’ve always loved staying at the Sac—you’re welcomed with a warm towel (or a cold one in the summer) and a glass of champagne upon arrival. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the historic charm of the hotel is something we’ve always appreciated. One of the biggest perks of hosting your wedding here is having the entire hotel for the weekend. It made everything so convenient, especially for our out-of-town guests. We held our rehearsal dinner on the patio, and the food was absolutely delicious. With 65 guests, everything came out quickly and the service was top-notch. On the wedding day, the Sacajawea staff took care of all the setup and decorations—my husband and I just had to show up! Right after the ceremony, their team began passing out appetizers and kept the drinks flowing thanks to the attentive bar staff. Dinner was, once again, incredible. We danced under the stars until midnight and then kept the celebration going downstairs at the Sac Bar and Grill. One of our favorite parts was staying in the cottages, which made getting ready so easy and comfortable. I truly can’t recommend having your wedding at The Sacajawea enough. It was a magical weekend, and now we have a special place we can always return to and relive those beautiful memories.

Loved our 2-day stay at this beautiful place, particularly day 2 in the King suite. Special thanks to Victoria, Maria, Roger, and manager Kay for taking such good care of us. Highly recommended!

I travel 4 days out of every week, 50 weeks a year. This is my first time staying at the Sacajawea Hotel. Such a pleasant and warming surprise. From the first greeting, where the desk attendant walked me to my cottage, to check out when all I had to so was leave my key in the room; awesome experience. Snacks and drinks (free) were in the room waiting for me. The room, or tiny house, was spacious and comfortable with 10 ft ceilings, window lined walls, rocking chairs on my personal front porch looking into the courtyard. Quality chocolates on the king sized bed and lavender pillow mist made my night restful. A coffee maker with fresh water waited on the counter top with a variety of coffee (not simply 2 like most hotels) along with Dutch Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider. Very nice surprise with the Montana temperatures in December. A corner fireplace and comfortable couch topped made my personal cottage especially comfortable to spend some relaxing time reading before turning in. In the morning, a large, clean bathroom with his & her robes enticed me to stay over another night. This will happen on my next trip.

What a lovely experience. A beautiful, historic property in Three Forks, it is the perfect balance of restoration and preservation. Attentive, kind and genuine staff. Numerous luxurious touches (cucumber water, warm lavender hand towel, delicious chocolates on the pillow) made us feel welcome and attended to. We roamed the building and grounds, ate at the bar downstairs (fine dining was not available due to Mon/Tues stay) and enjoyed our evening glass of champagne as we sat on the couch in the lobby. And the majestic elk who oversees the lobby? His name is Elliot.

Beautiful location, a few minutes from a more populated town with so much to do. I plan on going back and actually walking the Lewis and Clark trail a bit more. I had the privilege of staying in a well priced private cabin.

I have been to, and worked at some high end hotels around the world. The hospitality here is top notch. The food is amazing, satisfying and priced at an amount you won’t be upset with. The real stars are the staff who are pleasant, kind and just go above and beyond. Maggie front desk with her kindness and doing so much for us has now made this our anniversary destination every year as a tradition. Maddie our server was knowledgeable and really gave us all the options with a kind smile and joy when we said we loved it. THIS IS A DESTINATION don’t miss out!

I've always wanted to stay here and we finally did. This place was wonderful! We had to reschedule and that wasn't a problem. upon walking in you are given a lavender towel and a glass of champagne. We enjoyed ours after dropping off our bags in the room. We sat on the front porch swing where there is a gas fire for roasting marshmallows and very comfortable blankets and soft music playing. Our room was clean and there were many small nice touches like earplugs (didn't need), pillow spray, water bottles. We ate in the bar. Had great service and excellent affordable food and cocktails. The live music was nice but a little hard to hear at our table. The front desk lady was nice. Lots of historical photos hung on the walls and a very Montana themed lobby. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
